The Staff Electrical Engineer for Test Systems will be responsible for designing and developing automated test frameworks for satellite avionics and systems, ensuring rigorous testing of flight and ground hardware.

Responsibilities

Own the custom functional test equipment design from clean sheet to flight hardware production test

Develop functional test PCBA and other hardware requirements, architectures, and con-ops in collaboration with other engineering disciplines

Schematic capture and PCB layout of power, digital, and analog instrumentation circuit PCBAs using Altium Designer

Develop test strategies and plans in collaboration with flight HW designers and other engineering disciplines

PCBA and other HW manufacturing, design validation, and integration of automated test systems

Circuit simulation and analysis in SPICE, Excel, etc

Support SW engineers in the development of automated test control software

Execute flight hardware qualification and production acceptance testing including ambient functional and environmental tests

Support DUT anomaly resolution

Contribute to the development of engineering and production best practices to support most efficient manufacturing

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar

10+ years of experience in electronics hardware development and testing including schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware characterization testing, and automated test implementation

Proficiency with electrical test equipment including power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers, etc

Strong documentation skills for test procedures, results, analysis, etc

Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment
