Responsibilities

Master technical disciplines: design and execute rigorous experiments in chromatin biochemistry, complex reconstitutions, imaging studies, and/or genomics to probe condensate mechanisms and genome organization
Develop expertise in communication: maintain excellent experimental records and protocols; prepare datasets for presentations or publication
Be a good lab citizen: work in a friendly and respectful environment where colleagues work together to accelerate research
Find your perspective: pursue fellowships and co-write manuscripts; help shape your project as you grow toward independence

Required

PhD (or soon-to-be) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Cell Biology, or a related field
Evidence of prior academic success in the form of first author publications
Hands-on strength in one or more: chromatin biochemistry or biophysics, protein purification, quantitative imaging, single-molecule or biophysical assays
Organized, clear communicator; thrives in environments with respectful, feedback-rich scientific discourse
