New Grad, Entry LevelDiocese of Austin is seeking an Early Childhood Development Center Aide to assist the Teacher in providing high-quality care and education for children's development. The role involves engaging with children, communicating with families, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the Teacher in writing and implementing weekly lesson plans
Ensure the safety of the children by following all St. Louis Catholic Church and School, and State of Texas regulations, regarding childcare
Model appropriate play and interaction for children, by interacting in their play with them
Communicate daily with families regarding activities, upcoming events, their child’s progress, etc
Maintain supervision of children in your care 100% of the time
Sit with children at snack and lunch time, modeling proper table manners
Model Catholic values by example of lifestyle, respect of all people, charity to all, leading age-appropriate prayers (morning, meal, nap, and dismissal prayers)
Respect the confidentiality of staff, children, and families
Complete 30 hours per year of continuing education
Other duties as directed by ECDC management
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver's license or Government issued ID
Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period
Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check
Must be CPR/ First Aid certified
Preferred
CDA credential is a plus
Experience working with children preferred
