The Operations Leadership Development Program Summer Internship offers an opportunity to learn and apply business skills in support of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and procurement, while interacting with peers and senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to lead projects, learn new disciplines, grow a strong internal network with peers and senior management, and make an impact on the future, to patients, customers, the company, and the world

You will receive mentoring from Siemens Healthineers’ team of innovators, gain access to and network with senior decision-makers and key leaders, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving global challenges

Interns may participate in learning workshops and training courses, will develop an introductory understanding of the main process elements of Supply Chain, and develop a network within and outside of the Supply Chain organization

Each OLDP Intern will be assigned a Program Mentor and a site-specific Manager for the duration of the summer to assure development and progress

Weekly and daily check-ins are expected, as appropriate

Routine interaction with the OLDP Program Director is expected as well as networking events and one-on-ones with Operations senior management

Participants who complete the internship program will be considered for the full-time Operations Leadership Development Program (a two-year rotational assignment) and other entry-level opportunities

This Summer Internship program is on-site

A willingness to travel, and relocation flexibility, is expected

Required

Majors: BS/BA – Operations/Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Biochemistry and Biology related sciences, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Molding Engineering, Distribution Management, Automation, Statistics, and similar STEM concentrations

Education: Rising undergraduate Seniors (current Juniors) pursuing a BS/BA from an accredited technical school, college, or university with an expected graduation date before July 2026

Availability: Ability to work on-site, 40 hours per week, from May to August. Strong interest in working in a production environment

Recommended minimum GPA: 3.0

Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
