Responsibilities
2-5 years' experience preferably in a consulting engineering environment in water and wastewater design; specifically, utility design work including pipe, treatment plant, tank and pump station design
Regular client interaction, and prior experience working with municipal clients is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software required and WaterCAD, Innovyze, or similar hydraulic system modeling software is preferred
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
Professional Engineering registration strongly preferred
2-5 Years' Previous experience working with municipal water/wastewater clients
Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Progressive experience in planning, design, construction administration and permitting of infrastructure improvements
The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM Fri, occasional evening and weekend work
Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
Highly client service oriented, self-starter, and team player
Ability to solve problems
Ability to visit construction sites, attend project meetings and meet clients
In depth knowledge of construction methods, utility construction materials and water/wastewater treatment technologies
Strong understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
Excellent time management skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Basic skills using financial reporting tools to evaluate project performance
Strong leadership skills
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software required
Preferred
Experience using WaterCAD, Innovyze, or similar hydraulic system modeling software
