They are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience in a Plant Production environment, supporting the plant through continuous improvement activities and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain production through continuous improvement activities, monitoring staffing and resources, developing reporting procedures and systems, and initiating and fostering a spirit

Ensure a safe work environment through prompt resolution of safety-related issues, monitoring of work practices to ensure safe work behaviors and doing safety related facility tours and audits. Participates in plant safety program as a leader or group participant

Identifies shift production performance gaps in efficiency, suggests improvements and implements corrective actions to fix deficiencies

Ensure product quality by adherence to product/packaging specifications, QFSE protocols and OSHA compliance standards

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related principle

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks

Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions

Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel
