Responsibilities
Define and implement software QA processes, methodologies, and standards
Develop test strategies, plans, and scripts covering unit, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing
Oversee test execution and defect resolution, ensuring compliance with VA standards
Coordinate with developers, architects, and business analysts to validate requirements traceability
Lead performance testing, security validation, and compliance testing
Mentor QA engineers and provide technical leadership in test automation and validation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of QA and testing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Expertise in QA tools, test automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems
Strong understanding of federal standards (NIST, HIPAA, FISMA) and VA testing requirements
Experience working with Cerner (Oracle Health) electronic health record solutions and prior involvement with the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program is strongly preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / Moderate Risk clearance
