Administrative Assistant - Building Services
NEOGOV is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Building Services Division of the Development Services Department. This role involves providing professional administrative support, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with public inquiries and application processes.

Responsibilities
Manage correspondence (emails, letters, and phone calls). Composes correspondence independently and maintains records and files
Composes and dispatches responses to staff, public, etc
Independently answer inquiries from the public and other officials concerning procedural and regulatory matters administered by the division
Assists with maintaining and updating division manuals, guides, applications and website
Processes purchase orders
Maintains official records, prepares special reports and submits to appropriate parties
Independently prepares various reports, i.e., monthly report of department activities, special reports as needed
Becomes familiar with the Building and Development Services application process
Assists in application submission and relays requirements to the public
Processes public records requests
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma
Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in a professional business environment, preferably in an administrative capacity
Valid Driver's License
