Responsibilities
Review completed or updated title searches for commercial transactions depending on the locality and corporate standards
Analyze records, such as liens, judgments, easements and property survey to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records
Create invoices based on properly priced commitments, endorsements, and policies using appropriate schedule of fees and charges and communications with the national pricing team and local offices
Review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, loan documents, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions
Submit documentation for recording across national jurisdictions
Select appropriate templates for policies and endorsements for both standard and extended coverage
In some regions/locations, consult with local underwriters to review search packages and on matters that require escalation

Required

Understands how to navigate internal and external resources to gather information and resolve questions
Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers; uses various types of communication to meet customer expectations and build relationships
Natural curiosity, enjoys researching the history and background of transactions, analyzing, and evaluating records
Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations Comfortable guiding others as they grow in the field
Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
Flexible with the ability to multi-task and handle all aspects of title support
Preferred
Paralegal or real estate title insurance experience preferred
3-5 years of commercial title related experience is a plus
