Responsibilities
Support and manage activities to increase awareness of Penn State DuBois activities achievements
Work with faculty, staff, students, and vendors to complete projects
Create content for the campus website, news releases, social media, electronic newsletters, and other communications vehicles
Take photographs and assist in video creation
Attend and support various campus events and may serve on campus committees
Assist with content for the campus website, monitoring and reporting analytics for various platforms, and creating marketing and communications materials
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with one or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience for the Intermediate level
The ability to meet deadlines, produce accurate work and manage multiple projects is essential
An appreciation for and dedication to working with diverse audiences is a must
The successful candidate will be an excellent writer, editor, researcher, and interviewer who can develop strong working relationships across the campus
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field preferred
