Responsibilities

Lead a multi-disciplinary, multi-country engineering team managing many quick projects simultaneously

Develop reporting and tracking programs to assure the team activities are on target for schedule and cost

Identify key issues and drive decisions to ensure that the projects do not slip. Identify and resolve risks/issues quickly

Communicate with other managers, upper management, or outside vendors and other plants, as required

Responsible that the project is following the Special Feature Enhancements process

Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution

Deliver a fast and customer focused response on “engineered to order complex” (ETO-C) projects, where a new solution is based on an existing and well proven platform

To lead the re-engineering of existing products, collaborating with Sales, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the customer’s needs

To approve and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material)

To meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution

To analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility
