Responsibilities
Guide the day-to-day operations of a mental health peer support program
Maintain open communication and support to program participants and staff
Carry a Peer Support caseload
Oversee a team of 2-5 employees
Review documentation
Develop client Individual Recovery Plans (IRP)
Provide meaningful training and supervision to aid in professional growth
Represent the organization positively and professionally in the community, with local agencies, clients, and their families
Qualification
Required
High School diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Certification and experience as a Certified Peer Specialist
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or working toward obtaining
Valid Georgia Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Clean Criminal Background Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation -child or adult)
Preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
2 years or more experience working with in the psychiatric population preferred
