Commercial Product Manager - Commercial Payables Products

MidFirst Bank is seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to join the Commercial Product Management Department in growing the Bank’s Commercial Payables product suite. This role is responsible for the overall product design, development and ongoing management of an assigned portfolio of products to include ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments and emerging payment technologies.

Responsibilities

Product Development and Innovation: Evaluate potential products, recommend the development and design of new products and enhancements, and enhance existing solutions to meet short- and long-term Bank financial and strategic goals
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute Commercial Product Management’s roadmap for commercial payables products based on market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape and regulatory changes and requirements
Sales Support: Subject-matter expert for day-to-day sales support with product-related questions and sales initiatives
Customer and Market Focus: Engage with Treasury Management Officers and Relationship Managers in a collaborative and innovative culture to gather insights, understand pain points, and translate feedback into product improvements
Lifecycle Management: Champion innovation and manage performance metrics for the payables portfolio and lead initiatives to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
Collaboration: Central point of contact between internal stakeholders, including Sales, Implementation, Operations, Risk and Legal. Interact with third party vendors to coordinate quality product delivery to customers as needed
Go-to-Market Execution: Support sales and operational execution, including the creation of product collateral, training materials, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
Thought Leadership: Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory developments that impact product design and delivery to identify necessary actions, changes and opportunities. Communicate product information, changes and enhancements across all customer contact areas within the Bank

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience related to Treasury Management services
Superior understanding of commercial payments industry to include ACH, wires, real time payments and additional industry-leading payment offerings
Strong understanding of digital payment channels, ERP/API integrations, and client onboarding in payment space
Experience in driving product strategy and executing complex treasury-related initiatives while delivering measurable business results
Familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT standards, NACHA and in-depth industry trends in business-to-business payments
Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong personal computing skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are necessary
Superior verbal and written communication abilities and presentation skills are essential
Detail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ability to work independently without supervision required
Ability to travel as necessary to perform essential job responsibilities
