Responsibilities
Review open RFIs and submittals, coordinate responses with the engineering team, and escalate priority items for resolution
Serve as the onsite point of contact between the design engineers (Electrical/LSS/Fire Alarm/Plumbing/Comms) and the GC, supporting field teams with questions and technical guidance
Participate in QA/QC efforts, including review of electrical design releases, drawings, and equipment to verify alignment with specifications and design intent
Attend construction and contractor coordination meetings as needed
Conduct periodic site visits to observe progress and workmanship; provide feedback on known deviations, deficiencies, and overall quality
Assist with troubleshooting issues such as incorrect equipment specifications, terminations, or field conditions requiring engineering support
Prepare and manage punch lists to facilitate project close-out and sign-off
Support the client and CM in obtaining the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) as it relates to engineering systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in construction administration, commissioning, or QA/QC roles
Strong technical background in electrical or MEP systems; data center experience highly preferred
Proven ability to interpret design drawings, identify issues, and coordinate with engineers and contractors
Excellent communication skills, able to serve as a liaison between stakeholders
