$18/hr - $19/hrWorkbridge, LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join their team. In this role, you will support various construction projects, ensuring their successful completion through physical tasks and collaboration with skilled tradespeople.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, and tools
Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, by providing them with the necessary tools and materials and helping them with their tasks as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and that debris and waste are disposed of safely
Follow instructions and work under the guidance of supervisors and experienced team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, promoting a culture of safety awareness and reporting any potential hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel
Demonstrate good time management skills and consistently arrive on time for work without excessive absenteeism or calling out, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules
Show a strong work ethic by consistently performing tasks to the best of your abilities, being proactive in seeking additional responsibilities, and demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing, to provide updates, seek clarification, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
Strong work ethic and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
Knowledge of safety practices and willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
Preferred
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
