Assistant Professor of Finance

Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership in building the finance area
Participate in the school’s assessment program as well as student recruiting and retention efforts for both the school and the university
Engage in scholarly activities and research commensurate with other duties
Qualification
Required
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Finance or be ABD (All But Dissertation) with evidence of a well-developed research agenda in their area of specialization
The ability to teach a range of finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is required
Effective teaching, scholarship and service are required for promotion and tenure
Preferred
Professional work experience in finance or related fields outside of academia is preferred
Additional qualifications – such as business or management experience, consulting, online teaching experience, or professional certifications – are also desirable
