Cyber Mission Assurance Analyst, Senior

Responsibilities

Lead assessments of USSOUTHCOM's alignment with OSD/JS Mission Assurance instructions and directives
Oversee support for MA services that enable resilient C5IM capabilities
Direct the correlation of critical assets such as Key Terrains in Cyber (KT-C) and MRT-C
Manage the evaluation and tracking of Defense Critical Assets (DCAs) and Task Critical Assets (TCAs)
Lead assessments on integration of cyber resiliency, redundancy, and continuity planning
Provide strategic guidance across key tasks and high impact assignments
Serve as a senior technical expert on multiple project assignments, and may supervise others

Required

Active Secret level clearance and 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity or mission assurance experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)
Extensive experience and advanced knowledge of Mission Assurance (MA) principles and practices, proven expertise in evaluating and implementing cyber resiliency, redundancy, and continuity planning; significant experience in disaster recovery, incident response, and continuity of operations planning at a senior level

Preferred

Extensive background in military cyber operations at a strategic level, advanced expertise in mission assurance methodologies and their application in complex environments; comprehensive knowledge of resilient C5IM capabilities and critical asset correlation (KT-C and MRT-C), with a track record of implementing these concepts in high-level operations
Master's degree (MA/MS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)
Familiar with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) tools such as ACAS/Tenable, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Splunk and QRadar, Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
