Responsibilities
Translate various types of documents (business, legal, technical, marketing) from Korean to English and from English to Korean, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Provide oral translation for meetings, video conferences, and phone calls when needed
Adapt translations to suit the cultural context of the target language, ensuring the intended message is clearly conveyed
Review translated documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and accuracy to maintain a high standard of work
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, legal, technical) to ensure that translations meet specific requirements
Maintain glossaries and translation memory databases to ensure consistency across all materials
Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Qualification
Required
Fluency in Korean and English: Must have excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages
Proven experience in translation (2+ years preferred)
Ability to produce error-free, high-quality translations
Strong understanding of Korean and Western cultures to ensure accurate translations
Familiarity with translation tools and software is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
