Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using the .NET framework and SQL Server
Create responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS
Develop and maintain APIs
Design, implement, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices
Mentor and guide junior developers
Design application performance monitoring metrics
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures, while ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
Participate in root cause analysis for incidents to identify and address underlying issues
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on the .NET framework
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required
Expertise in C# and ASP.NET
Strong experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, Typescript, Rest, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Expert-level SQL Server skills
Experience with API design and development
Experience with source code version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Previous leadership experience preferred
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred
Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Additional experience with CI/CD pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps
Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals
Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level
Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance
