Responsibilities

Receives, reviews, and responds to email requests to reserve conference rooms and other shared spaces
Coordinates conference room reservations through reservations system and emails
Responds to customer inquiries and requests according to specific guidelines and procedures under limited supervision
Communicates with customers in person, by telephone and email
Resolves complex customer service problems under limited supervision
Performs related work as assigned

Required

High school graduate or possess a GED
Education and experience can be substituted for one another
Four years of experience in customer service, clerical, or administrative work
Must possess the ability to attest to and maintain the security or integrity of the state's critical infrastructure requirement to be considered for hire and to maintain employment
Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures
Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software
Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
Ability to respond to public inquiries in a timely manner
Ability to implement administrative systems and procedures and to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Preferred

Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with reservation systems
