They are seeking a full-time Chemical Engineering Intern to support the Engineering group, providing on-the-job training while assisting in water treatment proposal preparation and process calculations.

Responsibilities

Get on-the-job training while supporting an experienced Applications Engineer in performing water treatment proposal preparation, reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP), performing process calculations involving heat and mass balance, sizing of water treatment processes and equipment, helping review Process Flow diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and equipment layout drawings
Follow up for vendor quotations for major equipment and commodity items

Qualification

Chemical EngineeringWater Purification ProcessesMicrosoft Office Suite

Required

Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate courses in Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Familiarity with water purification processes e.g. Membrane separation, Chemical Softening etc
