Production Supervisor - Ponca City

Responsibilities

Actively involved in the attainment of all operational goals (yield, efficiency, uptime, labor cost, etc.) to provide the best possible conversion cost to our customers
Monitor quality checks to meet quality goals to ensure product quality and food safety standards are met to reduce/eliminate risk to the organization
Direct hourly associates in risk management and safety needs to ensure the protection of employees and other individuals and minimizing the organizations exposure to loss and liability
Actively support all employee and labor relations activities to increase employee engagement. Lead and direct daily employee activities to include placement, training, and goal setting
May participate in ideation, concept development, management of, or direct supervision of product development or process improvement initiatives
Works in conjunction with Superintendent and Operations Manager to develop training plans that support the organizational goals and objectives of the company

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Progressive supervisory experience
Proven ability to meet production goals (efficiency, yield, labor cost)
Experience maintaining quality and food safety standards
Ability to lead, train, and motivate hourly employees; manage labor relations
Knowledge of workplace safety practices in environments with moving machinery, refrigerated/freezer conditions, or other hazards
Willingness and ability to work the 1st shift (6AM-4PM) and weekends as needed
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred

Bachelor's or Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field
Experience in process improvement initiatives or product development
Experience developing and implementing training plans
Demonstrated success in increasing employee engagement or resolving labor-related challenges
