Responsibilities

Liaise with major index providers (e.g., MSCI, FTSE Russell, S&P Dow Jones, Bloomberg, ICE) regarding data licensing, platform enablement, data quality issues and methodology changes
Negotiate terms for new services including indexes, research agreements and other market data providing intellectual property and market-based services
Help create, track and maintain an index inventory of licensed data sets across the organization
Ensure adherence to vendor licensing agreements and data usage policies
Partner with investment teams, operations, risk, and compliance to ensure index data supports firm-wide workflows
Responsible for monitoring the contract renewal process and notifying appropriate partners
Work with the Market Data Operations Finance team to support invoice processing, reconciliation and order processing to ensure billing accuracy
Responsible for contract life cycle from negotiation of commercial terms and fees through legal review, supplier risk and finalization

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
2 to 5 years' experience related to market and reference data vendors and services, industry trends and contract negotiation
Experience with market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, FactSet)
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task with appropriate prioritization
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Excellent analytical, communication, and vendor management skills
Results driven with attention to detail and the ability to move quickly and multi-task, while staying organized
Strong English communication and presentation skills and ability to engage effectively with all levels within the firm
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 365; experience with Coupa and Optimize Spend a plus
