Technical Program Manager - GenAI
GE Vernova is focused on driving strategy and leading research & development efforts to support the energy transition. The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex AI solutions, acting as a bridge between product vision and engineering reality, managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities
Drive the entire project lifecycle for AI solutions, from initial scoping and planning through development, testing, and deployment, operating within our Agile framework
Partner with Product Managers and the Business Units to translate product roadmaps and business requirements into detailed technical specifications, project plans, and clear deliverables for the engineering teams
Work directly with engineering leads to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and cross-team dependencies
Proactively identify execution risks, technical challenges, and dependencies
Own communication on program status and delivery timelines
Continuously improve our execution and delivery processes, helping the team become more efficient and predictable in its ability to ship high-quality AI solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5-10 years' relevant experience
5+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of shipping complex, large-scale software projects
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Strong technical background, ideally with hands-on experience in software development
Familiarity with the unique requirements of AI and machine learning projects (e.g., data dependencies, model evaluation, POC-to-MVP lifecycle)
Proficiency with project management tools
Exceptional Communicator: You can flawlessly translate between technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring everyone is aligned
Master Organizer: You excel at creating order from chaos, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing track of the details
Proactive Problem-Solver: You don't wait for problems to happen; you anticipate them and work tirelessly to clear a path for your team
Influence Without Authority: You are skilled at building consensus and driving alignment across different teams and functions to achieve a common goal
