Responsibilities

Establish and manage sales objectives, goals, and forecasts for the designated territory
Conduct regular field visits throughout the assigned region to engage with customers, understand their needs, and drive sales
Collaborate with customer technical teams to specify and apply industrial equipment, while offering ongoing product education and technical support
Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty while also identifying new business opportunities
Act as a point of contact for resolving customer disputes, working closely with office staff and factory personnel to address and resolve issues in a timely manner
Regularly report on sales activity, market trends, customer feedback, and progress toward meeting or exceeding sales goals

Required

A minimum of 2 – 5 years of successful experience in an engineering or technical role within an industrial setting, preferably in valves, flow control products, or related industries. Alternatively, equivalent sales experience is acceptable
A BS degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred. However, a high school diploma combined with relevant experience will also be considered
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, clarify customer needs, and provide clear explanations
Strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to build, manage, and nurture long-term customer relationships
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, set personal goals, and take the initiative to achieve results
Ability to understand and explain the application of industrial equipment in customer processes, identifying and addressing customer needs
Proactive in identifying solutions and resolving customer challenges effectively and efficiently
Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory to meet with customers and support sales efforts
Valid driver's license required; personal vehicle available for sales and service calls
Credit check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Non-DOT Physical required as part of the background screening process
Must adhere to Bray's Drivers Policy, including maintaining adequate auto liability insurance and following company safety practices
