Responsibilities
Lead improvement projects – Identify opportunities to optimize equipment, processes, and plant performance
Enhance safety – Work with suppliers, safety teams, and plant staff to design safer work environments
Bring new technology to life – Research, implement, and maximize automation and advanced manufacturing solutions
Manage impactful projects – Plan, budget, and deliver projects on time, while collaborating with internal teams and outside vendors
Grow your skills – Set professional goals, pursue advanced training, and contribute to recruiting the next generation of engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Manufacturing, or similar)
Experience in project management and familiarity with tools/software for tracking progress
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles
Hands-on aptitude — comfortable using tools and troubleshooting equipment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel occasionally (<10%)
Preferred
Tech-curious — experience with programming/coding is a plus
