Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end payments strategy for Joist and Invoice Simple, ensuring alignment with EverCommerce’s overall payments and fintech roadmap
Identify new opportunities for embedded financial products (ACH, instant payouts, wallets, BNPL, etc.) tailored to trades and small business customers
Develop and execute PLG motions to increase adoption and engagement with payments features, including onboarding flows, pricing experiments, feature packaging, and in-app education
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure payments features are seamlessly integrated into the customer journey
Build and own payments KPIs including attach rate, volume, revenue, churn reduction, and customer LTV
Drive experimentation and analytics to optimize pricing, monetization, and payments adoption at scale
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align product-led initiatives with lifecycle campaigns, education, and support
Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to forecast, track, and report on payments performance
Stay ahead of fintech and payments trends relevant to SMB and trades industries, informing product roadmap and strategic bets
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS strategy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven success scaling embedded payments adoption and revenue within a SaaS or SMB-focused product
Strong understanding of product-led growth mechanics and ability to translate PLG strategy into execution
Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills and ability to drive strategy through experimentation
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with field services, construction trades, or SMB-focused platforms is a plus
