Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Learning and Development, plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the learning strategy, driving innovation in learning experiences, and ensuring alignment with Children’s business and talent priorities
Reporting to the Vice President, Learning and Talent Management, this leader will oversee a team of six direct reports
The Senior Director will be tasked with assessing the department, identifying what is working well and what is not
They will develop and present proposals for recommended changes, partner with leadership on revising competencies, and assist in the development of the Talent Strategy plan
Ideal candidates will be collaborative and respectful leaders capable of building strong relationships
They should be selfless leaders who empower others, support and nurture growth opportunities, and actively listen to and validate team concerns
Candidates must also be adaptable, with a strategic business focus and a dedication to process improvement and modernized ideas
Qualification
Required
Master's degree required
A minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, learning, and development, including at least seven years in a leadership role, is required
Preferred
Certification in learning and/or talent development is strongly preferred
