Responsibilities
Contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through architect/design, implementation, UT/Functional testing and maintaining multiple software components
Contribute to the development of aggressive project goals and schedules
Execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team
Work with various cross-functional groups such as Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, Customer teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in computer science/ECE with 3-5+ years of experience or Masters in CS/ECE with 2-3+ years of experience
Experience in programming languages such as C/C++/Python
Technical depth in L1, L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols
Hands on experience on Linux, system level software, switch/router embedded system software development
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of audiences spanning executives to junior engineers
Working experience in any of the following areas: L1 Link layer: MAC, PHY, SERDES
L2 switching/forwarding areas such as LAG, VLAN, xSTP, LLDP, Link OAM, ARP, VxLAN, DC fabric switching, etc
L3 unicast/multicast routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGMP, BGP, ISIS, etc
ACL, QoS, Policers, TCAM, etc
