Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and configure the M&S DevSecOps Platform, including core platform services, to support cloud and on-premises deployments
Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that meet the operational needs of Joint and Air Force training environments
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tools (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify) to ensure secure and efficient software delivery
Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability
Implement and maintain container orchestration solutions to support modernized M&S systems
Ensure platform reliability, availability, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including RMF and NIST 800-53 frameworks
Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement security best practices across the platform
Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support system modernization, transition engineering, and sustainment efforts
Provide technical leadership in integrating DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform performance and operational readiness
Continuously evaluate and optimize platform performance, scalability, and security

Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance required
10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in DevSecOps roles across multiple projects
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C++ and Python, as well as DevSecOps tools and practices
Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Certifications: Must possess Security+ CE or Linux+ certifications
Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices
Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks, including RMF and NIST 800-53
Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architectures
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
