WorkDay Lead HRIS Analyst

Responsibilities

Lead a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development
Oversee the management and resolution of queries and transactions related to core HR processes across all HR systems, including Workday and timekeeping systems
Direct the recommendation, implementation, and optimization of Workday functionality, including system configuration, project planning, and issue resolution. Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure success
Ensure all changes and enhancements are well-documented, following best practices for version control and naming conventions
Supervise the development and maintenance of advanced reports and dashboards in Workday to support HR and business decision-making
Manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and integrity. Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve them
Lead large-scale Workday-related projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and rollouts. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
Act as the key point of contact for Workday system administration and optimization, aligning team efforts with broader organizational goals
Ensure that all work streams across HR (payroll, compensation, recruiting, onboarding, time tracking, leave of absence, benefits) are cohesive and that cross-functional impacts are addressed
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HR systems and provide strategic guidance in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including advanced report writing and data analysis
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive experience with SDLC Project methodologies, including data mapping, writing test plans, and managing testing processes
Proficiency in Workday, strong understanding of payroll processes, data management, and reporting
Ability to analyze complex payroll issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions
Experience in managing payroll projects, including scoping, planning, and execution
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred

Workday Payroll Certification, a plus
Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance requirements in multiple regions, a plus
