Responsibilities

Monitor and forecast marketing trends, demographics, and audience preferences relevant to museums and nonprofit organizations
Design and execute data collection methods such as focus groups, surveys, interviews, and public opinion polls
Gather and analyze data on community interests, competitor offerings, and broader market conditions using statistical software
Convert complex data findings into clear and actionable tables, graphs, and written reports
Provide strategic recommendations based on market data to inform museum development and community engagement
Interpret and apply relevant government policies, regulations, and directives as directed by the client
Communicate findings and strategic insights effectively to executive-level personnel through oral briefings and written documentation

Required

Bachelor's degree in Market Research or a related field in Business, Communications, or Social Sciences

Strong experience with statistical analysis software and data visualization
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred

Experience conducting research within nonprofit or museum-focused contexts
