Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer Intern

The Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer Intern will define and establish an efficient product flow for flight hardware, solve tooling needs, and collaborate with engineers to produce and test engine hardware.

Responsibilities

Define, architect, and establish an optimized, efficient product flow of flight hardware through the Factory
Identify and solve tooling and work center needs and lead the efforts of standing up key Factory capabilities
Help drive the development of business tools and processes that will be used to manufacture Aeon R and Aeon V engines and their subassemblies
Work closely with other manufacturing engineers, technicians, and cross functional partners to produce and test engine hardware to meet critical path demands

Required

Obtaining BS or MS in an applicable technical focused discipline
Experience working on practical engineering projects, from conception through product/solution delivery and implementation
To be successful in this role, you need to be able to thrive in ambiguity, identify problems and quickly resolve them, and provide definition to the previously undefined
An ability to balance a scrappy, get-it-done attitude with a vision for the long-term processes required for scaling and efficiency

Machine Shop experience
3D Printing experience
CAD experience
GD&T experience
