This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of enterprise database systems, providing technical expertise in their design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and administration.

Responsibilities

Provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of enterprise database systems
Identifies and resolves database problems within application environments, service requirements
Identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks and related performance issues
Develops, maintains, and implements policies and procedures for ensuring database integrity and security
Monitors database environments
Work within UMMC Service desk ticketing system and schedule

Enterprise database systemsDatabase administrationDatabase certificationPerformance optimizationTechnical expertise

Required

Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in computer science, information systems or database experience
Industry standard database certification required
If individual does not have Epic DBA certification, must certify post-hire within six (6) months
Technical expertise in the maintenance and administration of enterprise database systems
