Responsibilities
Provide 2D Designer support services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams
Services include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas: Electrical, Equipment layout, Grounding, Cable tray, Conduit, Lighting systems, Schematics and wiring diagrams
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, OSHA)
Plant Design
Mechanical systems (piping, material handling, equipment, HVAC components)
Equipment, piping, and HVAC layout based on upper-tier documents
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards (ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510, B16)
Occasional travel offsite to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations may be required
Design services must comply with SRR processes and procedures
Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR
Qualification
Required
High School Degree required
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Designer in the specified discipline
Proficiency in 2D MicroStation CADD required
Must be capable of performing system walkdowns in the field
Preferred
Formal training beyond High School in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting preferred
