Responsibilities
Collaborate to set technical vision and roadmap, based on short-term and long-term business goals and product requirements
Provide technical leadership on the architecture, balancing business goals, product requirements, and the realities of the existing system
De-risk larger projects by leading proofs of concept and measurement efforts
Mentor other engineers on your team and across the company
Lead by example by rolling up your sleeves on product and infra
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with industry standards on streaming data
Experience being on-call for a user-facing application
Track record leading engineers to deliver. Impressive portfolio of projects launched
Track record of leading projects from conception to results, that have impact on the entire company
Excellent tolerance for chaos and a good sense of humor
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred
Experience working on a 0-to-1 product
Experience working on B2B product and/or developer tools
