They are seeking a Junior Engineering Technician to support Navy customers by assisting with equipment alterations, conducting testing, and providing technical support for combat systems equipment.

Responsibilities
Support equipment level alterations made to equipment onboard a Navy vessel, test site, or within a system, such as upgrading existing equipment or systems, adjusting configurations, retrofitting components, or integrating new technologies
Provide support and guidance to address issues, challenges, or questions related to a particular system, equipment, or process
Assist in conducting testing, risk analyses, design recommendations and coordinate with certifying organizations
Assist in the Installation, monitoring, upgrading, maintaining and performing system administration for support systems, tactical and training
Assist in providing support, maintenance, and a range of engineering, industrial, and technical services for combat system equipment
Assist in post modernization installation, checkout and closeout processes during stages 3-7 for technical refresh, upgrades to training systems software, installation of modifications to shipboard command and control combat systems and subsystems, managing ORDALTS and handling field changes
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
3 years of providing Combat Systems / Engineering support to a US Navy program or ship
A Technical degree in any Engineering discipline
