Responsibilities
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial purposes
Develop control panel drawings, loop drawings, ladder diagrams, 1-line diagrams, intrinsic circuits, conduit routing and load calculations
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps
Ensuring compliance with specifications, applicable codes, and customer requirements
Preparing specifications for purchasing of electrical equipment and materials
Qualification
Required
3-8 years of experience in Electrical & Controls Design or Instrumentation
Control Panel Design experience
Experience designing control systems
Experience in using CAD software (AutoCAD or ePLan)
Experience with drawing standards, drawing review, peer reviews, etc
Knowledge of applicable codes related to the electrical field
Preferred
Experience with Instrumentation nice to have
Degree in electronics, instrumentation, or controls desirable but not required
