Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and direction for the design and development of equipment and mechanical systems
Understand client requirements and justify design decisions effectively
Prepare written reports, specifications, and other technical documents
Guide intermediate engineers and designers in the production of project design drawings
Prepare, coordinate and review deliverables in a variety of project related tasks
Actively participate in multi-discipline teams consisting of engineers, designers and other specialists
Take initiative in developing projects and contribute to the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or similar Engineering field
10+ years of previous experience working in an engineering consulting firm, production facility, or similar environment
Experience with service equipment including pumps, valves, and agitators
Familiarity with project engineering execution
Experience in software such as Excel, engineering calculation and modeling programs
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Good organization skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Proven team player committed to support the requirements of project groups
Ability to work in the office or a hybrid 3 office days and 2 home days format
Willingness to travel (10 to 20%)
