Responsibilities
Responsible for all student registration processes, maintaining Synergy, requesting/sending student records, register students, withdraw students, etc
Responsible for Grade Quick processes, report cards, scheduling
Responsible for Data Steward processes
Maintains cumulative and confidential records for all students
Screens visitors, telephone calls and incoming mail; personally answering inquiries which in the employee's judgment do not require the supervisor's attention
Types, assembles and disseminates reports, handbooks, correspondence, etc
Acts as an information specialist to the public, students and faculty regarding a variety of matters related to school operations and policies
Maintains good rapport with students, staff and parents
Prepares reports and furnishes information requested from within and outside the organization
Performs clerical and routine work required to ensure the efficient operation of the school office
May serve as backup for Time and Attendance and Bookkeeper
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of office practices and procedures
Knowledge of the school or department's programs
Business English and mathematics
Working skill in typing
Operating personal computers
Word-processing equipment or other automated office systems
Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of secretarial duties for one or more professionals
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Exercise judgment and work with all levels of the school or department
Education, training or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and abilities
