Assistant Director of Housing Programs

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) is seeking two Assistant Directors of Housing Programs (ADHP) to assist with planning, organizing, managing, and providing administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the Housing Programs Department. The ADHP will have the opportunity to develop and implement a wide range of new Moving to Work strategies and activities.

Required

Experience in planning, organizing, managing, and providing administrative direction and oversight for housing programs
Ability to assist with the administration of various assistance programs
Experience working with a budget of $59 million or similar
Knowledge of Housing Choice Vouchers and Project-Based Vouchers
Experience with AHA-owned housing units and resident services
Ability to develop and implement new strategies and activities related to Moving to Work programs
