Intern - Division of Learning & Instruction (Summer)
The State of South Dakota is seeking interns for the Division of Learning & Instruction during the summer. Interns will collaborate with department staff on various projects, including document editing, meeting coordination, and data analysis.

Responsibilities
Editing and formatting documents, presentations, and reports
Supporting the planning and coordination of meetings, trainings, and conferences
Organizing and maintaining digital and physical files
Conducting research and compiling information to support program initiatives
Assisting with data entry, analysis, and visualization
Assisting with communication for workshops
Participating in team meetings and contributing to brainstorming and planning sessions
Qualification
Required
APPLICANT MUST BE A CURRENT PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME STUDENT (MINIMUM OF 6 CREDIT HOURS) IN UPCOMING SEMESTER OR IN THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING SEMESTER
Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply
By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program
Preferred
Preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior
Preference may be given to South Dakota residents
Preference may be given to students of South Dakota institutions
It is preferred that the applicant be pursuing a degree in Education or related field
