Responsibilities
Manage month-end accounting close process
Operationalize and scale accounting policies in accordance with ASC 606
Streamline and develop scalable processes for revenue accounting
Review non-standard revenue contracts and provide guidance on appropriate revenue treatment
Create/maintain robust SOX documentation and related controls
Identify and drive process improvements and automation projects to accelerate revenue close timeline
Perform revenue analytics and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights and reporting packages that inform executive decision-making
Manage disclosure and reporting requirements related to revenue including remaining performance obligation disclosures for financial statements
Support external audits
Qualification
Required
9+ years of combined revenue accounting management and related experience across public companies and the Big 4 audit and accounting advisory practices
CPA, strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 and Order to Cash process
US public company experience, particularly in a SOX-controlled environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Preferred
SaaS and/or consumption revenue experience is strongly preferred
Experience with Zuora, SalesForce CPQ, and NetSuite preferred
