InternVestal Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern to assist with civil project design phases while working closely with Senior Civil Engineers. The role involves reviewing design schedules, assisting with site layout and design, and coordinating with various disciplines for seamless project execution.

Responsibilities
Review civil design schedule to align with target dates for deliverables
Observe project strategy meetings within discipline
Assist with site layout and design, grading, Storm water drainage, sanitary sewer design and erosion control design
Review flood studies
Review and assist with development of pavement and roadway design for industrial and commercial projects
Coordinate with various disciplines for seamless project execution
Interface directly with clients and external partners
Maintain Civil Design/ engineering standards and procedures
Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures
Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations
Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working towards Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities
Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts
Must comply with Vestal Corporations' core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees
Preferred
Familiar with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is strongly preferred
