Field Technical Trainer
Integral Blue is seeking a highly skilled Field Technical Trainer to develop and deliver training programs that enable teams to succeed in using and supporting systems, tools, and processes. The role involves creating training documentation, designing evaluations, and ensuring quality in technical knowledge transfer across field teams.

Responsibilities
Design and develop engaging, scalable training programs tailored to employees at various technical levels. Maintain up to date training content that reflects new technologies, standards, and best practices
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations. Adapt delivery methods to different learning styles, environments (classroom, field, online), and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
Manage training schedules, enrollment, and logistics across multiple teams and locations. Coordinate with supervisors to minimize operational disruption while achieving training goals and requirements
Create and maintain comprehensive training materials, including manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), guides, checklists, and multimedia content. Ensure documentation is standardized, accurate, and easily accessible for reference. Collaborate with Human Resource (HR) Department to assess utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS) as a tool for online and hybrid training
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME’s) to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly materials. Promote knowledge sharing across teams through best-practice documentation and job aids
Track and report training completion rates, competency levels, and certification progress. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on training effectiveness and workforce readiness
Partner with managers and technical leads to identify training gaps, emerging technologies, and evolving workforce needs. Recommend improvements or new training modules based on field feedback and performance data
Work alongside technicians in the field to deliver on-the-job (OJT) training and evaluate real-world application of skills. Assist with resolving open field issues as part of hands-on training and mentoring
Serve as a mentor and technical resource for field technicians, fostering skill growth and career development. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Ensure all training aligns with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Integrate safety compliance topics into both classroom and field training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or technical documentation
Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn and teach new systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training software, and content development tools
Strong organizational and project management skills
Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions and safety regulations related to equipment operation, electric currents, traffic patterns and conditions and other work-related precautions to include basic first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a First Aid and CPR certification
Ability to complete an OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training program, and obtain an OSHA 30-Hour Safety Card

Regular travel to and from Integral Blue's Corporate Office in Auburn Hills, MI
Regular travel to locations throughout Michigan's lower peninsula
Travel to the upper peninsula and out of state may be required
Preferred
Experience in developing SOPs and operational training for technical or field-based teams
Ability to design interactive, scenario-based, and blended learning experiences
Experience with Bookstack, or a similar wiki/knowledge base application
Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), fiber optics, low voltage systems, and technical field work
