Responsibilities

Prepares patients for radiographic procedures by reviewing physician orders and explaining processes
Operates radiographic equipment and computer systems to produce and document diagnostic images
Performs daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control checks to ensure imaging standards
Ensures all radiographic procedures are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Submits radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist
Follows all safety protocols related to radiographic procedures and environmental safety
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Graduate of an accredited radiography program
No experience required
Certification and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Licensure as a Medical Radiological Technologist or Limited Medical Radiological Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)

Preferred

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
