DevSecOps Systems Engineer
SAIC is seeking a DevSecOps Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the SAIC’s Prime Program Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. The role involves integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle, utilizing a range of Cloud technologies, and operating within a Cloud environment.

Responsibilities
Apply DevSecOps concepts, processes and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, situational awareness, etc.)
Support digital engineering strategy and governance development and implementation roadmap planning across contractor and government teams
Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements
Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies
Provide technical support to government points of contact
Collaborate with SETA team members, development contractors, and in customer forums
Effectively communicate and interface with engineers from various contractors and government organizations
Develop assessments and briefings for a variety of audiences, conveying system engineering concepts and decision logic concisely and accurately
Qualification
Required
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly
Experience with DevSecOps and tools
Experience with systems development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
Knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture development
Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations, and maintenance, decommission
Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with limited supervision; excels at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics
Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment
Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders - consensus builder
Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project
