Cargo Aircraft Management, Inc. is seeking a CFM 56/V 2500 Fleet Manager to provide program oversight for all CFM 56 powerplant related shop visit removals. The role involves ensuring timely induction of powerplant commodities into the repair process, auditing financial quotes, and coordinating work scopes with carriers and repair stations.

Responsibilities

Ability to travel is required, frequency driven by shop visit schedules at CAM engine repair facilities

Oversight on CAM engine repair activity to ensure supplier obligations are achieved

Ensure all workscopes support CAM commercial and technical expectations

Audit repair invoices

Report engine repair progress with current estimated date for return to service

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Flexibility to work and travel outside of normal working hours, as needed

Qualification

Required

Minimum 8 years airline and/or equivalent experience with engine type CF6-80C2, CFM56-5B, V2500, RB211-Trent 700 and/or APU programs at an MRO, airline or leasing company as a Program Manager, Production Manager and/or Powerplant Engineer

Proven track record of positively influencing work processes and behaviors in relatively short amounts of time

Strong problem-solving skills and very strong analytical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Ability to travel is required, frequency driven by shop visit schedules at CAM engine repair facilities
