Responsibilities

Receive samples and build tests for the test laboratory

Verifies the test results for conformance to Military, ASME Code, and Customer specification requirements and releases the product

If the tested product does not conform to specifications, initiate new testing and report to management

Responsible for the approval of all Government labels in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and special identification labels invoked by a customer’s request

Responsible for the conformance of the test data and accuracy on the following types of certifications: ASME Code, Military, International, and Typicals

Responsible for the yearly renewal of test data of certain product types submitted for the approval of each State Highway Department

Coordinate requests from outside auditors regarding customer product surveillance and witnessing of weld tests

Coordinate customer test requirements of welding products at Hanover

Other projects as directed by the Tested Order Manager
