Responsibilities
Maintain complex medical equipment through effective implementation of the Mayo Clinic Medical Equipment Management Plan
Demonstrate technical skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, repair, and QA of x-ray, imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and imaging-related systems
Provide exceptional customer service with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Prioritize service calls appropriately and adhere to Mayo policy and procedure
Adhere to rules, regulations, and policies regarding radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans in the event of equipment failure
Monitor the potential for radiation exposure and work to eliminate unnecessary exposure
Solve very complex technical issues in a timely manner
Respond to service calls communicated through HTM Leadership, HTM Support Specialists, or a CMMS dashboard
Respond rapidly to emergent calls directly from the customer
Work on-call, overtime, and non-standard shifts as required, including travel to other Mayo Clinic sites and applicable vendor training
Continuously improve knowledge to develop mastery of increasingly complex equipment and support the mission of Mayo Clinic
Demonstrate mastery of imaging repair principles and success in the most complex of imaging repairs, often sharing knowledge with less experienced technicians

Required
